Yamamoto team Bill Braswell and Dan Dannenmueller are making a strong run for the points championship in the 2011 Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters tournament trail. Going into the Truman Lake, Missouri tournament the team had a slim 30 point lead. I caught up to the team at Truman.
When did you decide to go after the points championship?
Braswell says, “After a few tournaments we looked at the situation and decided to go for it. We were 17 points behind at the time. We’ve gradually moved into the lead. The Truman tournament is critical because there are 86 teams which means if we have a bad finish the other teams can get a lead on us.”
ShareThe Fourth Annual Porter Wagoner Fishing Tournament, sponsored by Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits and Costa Del Mar, went off without a hitch a couple weekends ago. Fish were caught, songs were sung, and everyone had a grand old time!
